Continue the Movement for Social Justice and Political Empowerment

The Primary election may be over, but the movement is just getting started.

A Movement, Not Just a Campaign

Today, we are asking for your support to help us raise the funds necessary to cover outstanding campaign obligations and expenses that we simply did not have enough time to fully fund during the Primary election. More importantly, we are asking you to invest in the next phase of a movement that is already changing the political landscape in North Texas.

Some candidates run for office simply to win an election. Others have the courage to run for office to launch a movement.

What We Built

In Texas Congressional District 33, we did more than run a campaign—we launched a movement.

At a time when many candidates and elected officials were reluctant to speak out for fear of political consequences, Zeeshan chose a different path. He spoke boldly for Palestinian human rights and self-determination. He challenged anti-Muslim hate and Islamophobia. He advocated for working families struggling under economic pressure. He called for humane immigration policies. He challenged the influence of special interests and dark money in politics. And he stood firmly for social justice, even when doing so was considered politically risky.

Most importantly, he became a voice for people who felt unseen, unheard, and unrepresented.

The campaign inspired thousands of voters, volunteers, donors, and community members throughout Congressional District 33 and across DFW. Together, we demonstrated that there is a growing constituency demanding leaders who will stand firmly for justice, human dignity, and moral courage.

What happened next demonstrated the true power of leadership and organizing.

The Power of Community Action

After launching his campaign, Zeeshan built strong relationships with community leaders, organizers, faith leaders, activists, and everyday residents throughout the district. Together, they created a coalition determined to ensure that the issues most important to our communities would no longer be ignored.

When Zeeshan first entered the race against Julie Johnson and Collin Allred, many political leaders remained largely silent on issues such as Palestinian human rights, anti-Muslim hate, and the concerns of communities that felt overlooked by the political establishment.

Rather than accepting that silence, Zeeshan and the coalition he helped build organized, advocated, educated, and engaged directly with candidates. They demonstrated that there was a large and growing constituency of voters who cared deeply about these issues and were eager to support leaders willing to stand up for them.

Through that effort, Zeeshan developed a strong working relationship with Collin Allred. Community leaders and members engaged directly with Allred and encouraged him to take a stronger and more public stance on issues of justice, human rights, and inclusion. To his credit, Allred listened.

Political Courage Is Possible

As the Primary runoff approached, Allred began speaking more forcefully on issues that many in our community had been advocating for. While many factors contributed to the outcome of the runoff election, the growing engagement and mobilization of our coalition demonstrated that voters were ready to support candidates willing to show courage and leadership on these issues.

The lesson was clear: Political courage is possible when leaders know that communities will stand beside them.

The movement Zeeshan helped build showed candidates that taking principled positions does not have to be politically dangerous. In fact, voters are often searching for leaders who are willing to speak honestly and boldly about issues that matter.

Although Zeeshan did not win the election, the movement did not end on Election Day. After the campaign, Zeeshan returned to his corporate career and continued his role as a devoted husband and father. But he also continued organizing, advocating, and building.

Real Results

Real Results

This movement has already produced real results.

The power built through Zeeshan Hafeez’s campaign did not disappear after the Primary. It was immediately put to work in local and congressional elections, proving that grassroots organizing can do more than raise awareness. It can shape outcomes.

First, the coalition, credibility, relationships, and voter engagement built during the TX-33 campaign were used to support Fahad Ahmed’s successful campaign for Irving City Council District 6. Fahad’s election was a major moment for Valley Ranch and the broader North Texas Muslim community. It showed that when our community is organized, visible, and politically engaged, we can help elect leaders who understand our neighborhoods, our families, and our values.

That victory mattered because representation matters. For years, many in our community felt that we were treated only as voters to be courted during election season, not as a constituency with real political power. Fahad’s election helped change that. It showed that our communities can move from the sidelines into seats of public responsibility.

Then, that same growing political power helped reshape the TX-33 runoff.

After the Primary, Zeeshan and the coalition he helped build engaged directly with Colin Allred and his campaign. They made clear that support from our community could not be taken for granted. It had to be earned through real commitments on the issues our voters cared about most: Palestinian human rights and self-determination, opposition to AIPAC influence, humane immigration policy, protection for Dreamers and asylum seekers, economic justice, healthcare, civil liberties, and accountability from those in power.

To his credit, Colin Allred listened. He moved toward the priorities our coalition had been fighting for, adopted stronger language on key issues, and showed a willingness to engage voters who had felt ignored by the political establishment.

When the runoff arrived, our movement did not sit on the sidelines. We organized. We communicated. We mobilized. We helped demonstrate that there was a real constituency ready to support candidates who showed courage on justice, dignity, and human rights.

And Colin Allred won.

These were not symbolic victories. They were real political outcomes.

From helping elect Fahad Ahmed to Irving City Council, to helping move Colin Allred’s platform and support his runoff victory in TX-33, this campaign proved that organized communities can influence elections at every level. City Hall matters. Congress matters. Local power matters. Federal power matters. And when our community shows up with discipline, clarity, and courage, candidates listen.

That is the real legacy of this campaign.

It was never only about one race.

It was about building political power for communities that had too often been ignored. It was about showing candidates that standing with our community is not a liability. It is a path to victory.

And this is only the beginning.

The Next Chapter

He was determined that the hard-earned donations, countless volunteer hours, and tremendous sacrifices made by supporters would not go to waste. The relationships built during the campaign have continued to grow. The coalition continues to organize. The conversations continue. The advocacy continues. And the influence of the movement continues to expand.

As we move toward future elections, we want candidates across Texas—including leaders such as James Talarico and others—to know that they do not need to fear standing up for justice, human dignity, working families, and marginalized communities. We want them to see what we have already proven: that there is a growing movement of voters ready to support leaders who act with courage.

Your contribution will help us close out remaining campaign obligations, honor commitments made during the campaign, and continue the organizing, advocacy, coalition-building, and community engagement that have already begun to reshape political conversations across our region. Every dollar helps ensure that this movement not only survives—but grows.

If you believe in justice, if you believe every community deserves a voice, and if you believe politics should serve people rather than power, we invite you to stand with us once again. Together, we can continue building a movement that empowers communities, inspires leaders, and ensures that the voices of the people are never ignored. Please contribute today and help us continue the work.
