Political Reform & Accountability
Washington isn’t broken by accident — it’s been bought and sold. Career politicians take millions from corporate PACs, trade stocks on insider information, and rig district maps to protect their power while working families get left behind. Zeeshan’s plan is simple: end the corruption, return power to the people, and build a government that works for all of us — not just the wealthy and well-connected. That means rejecting corporate money, banning stock trading in Congress, enacting term limits, and ensuring every vote counts through fair maps and ranked-choice voting. Real change starts with a government that answers to you — not to billionaires or lobbyists.

End Corruption. Empower Voters. Restore Democracy.
Washington isn’t broken — it’s bought. While working families struggle with rent, healthcare, and childcare, politicians in both parties are too often answering to corporate donors, lobbyists, and special interests.
If we want real progress on healthcare, housing, climate, and civil rights, we must start by fixing the corrupt system that protects power and silences people.
Our campaign doesn’t take a dime from corporate PACs — and never will. We’re running to put people over politics, and to return government to where it belongs: the hands of the people.

Ban Corporate PAC Money and Stock Trading in Congress
Career politicians often care more about staying in office than serving the people. We need fresh voices, new energy, and a system that rewards integrity — not incumbency.
- Support term limits for Members of Congress to encourage public service, not lifetime political careers.
- Implement ranked-choice voting nationwide to end toxic partisanship, eliminate “spoiler” arguments, and give voters more voice and better choices.
- Ban partisan gerrymandering and create independent redistricting commissions in every state to draw fair maps that reflect people — not politicians.
We will:
Voters should pick their representatives. Representatives should never pick their voters.
Oppose Partisan Redistricting — Defend Voter Power
Texas politicians are once again trying to manipulate district maps behind closed doors to protect themselves and weaken the voice of the people — especially in communities of color.
- Aggressively oppose partisan gerrymandering like what is being attempted in Texas right now — including in District 33.
- Support federal legislation to restore and strengthen the Voting Rights Act.
- Demand that all redistricting be conducted by independent, nonpartisan commissions — with full transparency and public input.
We will:
Democracy only works when every vote counts equally, and every community has a fair shot at representation.

End Citizens United — Restore Democracy
- Overturn Citizens United through legislation and constitutional amendment if necessary.
- Pass the Democracy for All Act to limit corporate influence and strengthen public financing of campaigns.
- Require full transparency for all political spending — no more shadowy Super PACs or anonymous donors.
The 2010 Citizens United decision opened the floodgates for unlimited corporate and dark money in our elections — and our democracy has been drowning ever since. Billionaires and special interest groups can now spend millions to buy influence, drown out grassroots voices, and protect the status quo. That’s not free speech — it’s legalized corruption.
We will:
Real democracy means one person, one vote — not one billionaire, one megaphone.
A Government That Works for Us — Not Themselves
This isn’t about slogans. It’s about power — and who gets to wield it.
- Ending legalized corruption
- Strengthening democracy at every level
- Giving working people a voice in the decisions that shape their lives
Our campaign is about:
We’re not just going to play by the rules — we’re going to change them.
