Zeeshan Hafeez’s story reflects the journey of countless families in Texas’s 33rd District. He grew up in an immigrant household shaped by sacrifice, faith, and a belief that opportunity should belong to every family, no matter their background or bank account. His career took him from the courtroom to leadership roles at Microsoft and Google, where he saw from the inside how corporate power can shape policy in ways that leave working families behind.
That experience drives his campaign today. While wealthy, establishment politicians backed by AIPAC, corporate PACs, and outside money have jumped into this race from outside the district, Zeeshan is building something very different. His campaign is powered by local organizers, young people, working families, and a growing coalition of Latino, Black, Asian, and Muslim voters who want a representative who lives here, shows up here, and fights for the people who live here.
Zeeshan understands the pressures families in TX-33 face. He has balanced raising children with demanding work, student debt, healthcare hurdles, and the struggle to build stability in an economy that often favors the well-connected. A Snapshot of Zeeshan Hafeez
Zeeshan Hafeez is not a career politician. He is a Texan who built a life grounded in family, faith, service, and a belief that public leadership must answer to the people, not special interests. He is a husband to frontline healthcare worker, a father of three, and a first generation American who has lived the very challenges families across Texas’s 33rd District face.
Armed with a law degree from Georgetown and an MBA from the University of Virginia, Zeeshan built a career defined by solving real problems. He practiced public interest law and worked at the Harrison Institute of Public Policy in Washington, where he advocated before Congress on behalf of labor, workers’ rights, and vulnerable communities. Internationally, he served at the World Trade Organization in Geneva, helping resolve complex disputes between nations.
In the private sector, Zeeshan became a leader in some of the world’s most influential technology companies, including Microsoft and Google. He led teams, built innovative solutions, and pushed for opportunities for young people of color through DEI initiatives. Seeing firsthand how corporate decisions shape society without public accountability is what drives his fight for a Digital Bill of Rights and for stronger, people centered technology policy.
At home, Zeeshan has invested deeply in community service. He helped lead Citizens Advisory Committees, co founded a racial justice initiative in Sarasota, and worked across school boards and planning organizations to address transportation, education, and civic engagement. In North Texas, he organizes youth sports leagues, builds mentorship pipelines through CareerNetwork, supports refugee families, and serves as Community Outreach Director for DFW Refugee Outreach Services. His work has connected volunteers with Afghan and other refugee families to provide critical support.
Zeeshan is now bringing this record of service to Congress. While establishment politicians backed by corporate PACs and AIPAC money try to buy this seat, Zeeshan is building a people-powered coalition of progressives, young voters, Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans, working families, and more Muslim voters in the district. He is the only candidate running a grassroots, community rooted campaign built on truth, accountability, and service.
His mission is clear. Stand up to the special interests that have drowned out ordinary Texans. Fight for universal healthcare, strong public schools, clean air and water, digital privacy, and an economy that lifts working families.
